 Regarding Illegal Taxi |
|
There are many unauthorized taxicab operators in Guam who look like or appear to be regular taxi units.
Please be careful as they DO NOT HAVE ANY LICENSE TO OPERATE thus, they have no proper insurance in case of accident.
These illegal taxis are prohibited by law to pick-up/drop-off customers especially at the airport --- if caught, airport police might hold you with the drivers for questioning.
These “illegal/unauthorized taxis” might give you cheaper taxi fare/rate however, please be more careful as your safety maybe at risk!!! |

| What is Unauthorized taxi? |
|
- Commercial taxi has "TXI" on a license plate.
- Driver’s name and car number should be on both sides of front seat doors.
- Taxi Service company name should be on both sides of back seat doors.
- Driver's yellow card(taxi license), taxi meter and fare list should be inside the taxi.
