Guam Governor’s House
Guam Government Complex is located at Kanamata Hill, where stands a statue of Ricardo Jerome Bordallo a former governor from 1975 to 1978. It has outstanding natural scenery.
Latte Stone Park
8 of 5ft height stones are displayed in two rows, which, are popular icons of Guam’s culture. These stones were said to have been used as pillars for elevated houses, used in trainings, or an altar by ancient people.
Paseo de Susana Park
This park is located by the sea along the Agana area and at the back of the Chamorro Village. Built in the 1940’s, the park contains Guam’s main sports stadium, Chief Quipuha Park and the replica of New York’s Statue of Liberty built by the Boy Scouts of America in 1950.
Two Lovers Point
Legend holds that a pair of Chamorro lovers whose parents would not allow them to marry jumped to their death from this 378-foot cliff. Made out of respect for the two lovers who proved their true love, visitors now can have a spectacular view of the gleaming white-sand beaches and lush hillsides.
Dulce Nombre de Maria Cathedral-Basilica
Dulce Nombre de Maria Cathedral-Basilica is the biggest church in Guam and has Pope John Paul monument. This place is not only tourist attraction but also meaningful religious place. For reference, tourist cannot go to mass.
Plaza de Espana
Plaza de Espana is representative of Guam’s history and Spain, The US, Japan administration was used to be here. Until now it is popular place to tourist and local residents. It takes approximately 20 mins to take a look. It has a palace that the Spanish governor’s had stayed before World War II began.
War in the Pacific National Historical Park
At War in the Pacific National Historical Park, the former battlefields, gun emplacements, trenches, and historic structures all serve as silent reminders of the bloody World War II battles that raged across the Pacific. It was established in 1978 in honor of more than 500,000 soldiers who participated in the Pacific Theater of World War II.
Cocos Island
Cocos Island located just off the Southern tip of Guam's coast, which has wonderful white-sand beaches and crystal-clear water. It is protected by a coral-reef barrier and makes for a beautiful picnic area. Snorkeling and many other activities are also offered on this remote island location.
Talofofo Falls
Explore one of Guam’s most popular waterfalls through the Talofofo Resort Park. A cable car allows stunning aerial views of the two waterfalls which is surrounded with a jungle. The famous Yokoi Cave is also located at the area.
Inarajan Natural Pool
For rugged beauty and photo appeal, Inarajan Natural pool has the most intriguing geology. Natural bathing spots surround a public park on the main road that circumnavigates the island. Coral outcroppings resembling the lava flows of volcanic islands loom at 15 to 20 feet above the horizon, blocking the view of the reef beyond.
Cetti Bay Overlook
Cetti Bay and the chain of a thousand foothills are part of Guam’s Territorial Seashore Park. The area is generally considered a geological delight with the rock formation providing clues to the volcanic origins of southern Guam. The twin hills below the Cetti Bay Overlook and to the north, called Attelong Acho, or Black Rock, are examples of pillow lava formed underwater during ancient volcanic eruptions. To the south in the distance Cocos Island can be seen just off Merizo village.
Fort Soledad
Fort Nuestra Señora de la Soledåd, or Fort Soledad, the last of four Spanish fortifications built in the village of Umatac, is located atop a steep bluff called Chalan Aniti, or Path of the Ancestors. The fort provides a superior view of the village, the bay, the rugged coastline, and the imposing southern mountain range. The fort was constructed to strengthen the defenses of Guam’s most prominent Spanish-era bay.
Fort Apugan
Fort Santa Agueda, the only surviving Spanish fort in Hagåtña, sits atop Apugan Hill on the western coast of Guam. The fort, now commonly called Fort Apugan, provides a commanding view of the capital village of Hagåtña, the Philippine Sea, and the sheer northern cliff lines of Oka Point and Urunao Point.
